While cleaning up storage drives in our department, I found multiple PST files from previous employees that management wanted reviewed, but our audit workstation had no Outlook license available. Rather than requesting new installations, I tried SysInfo PST File Viewer to see if it could simply display the archived mailbox content. The experience turned out very practical because the software loads PST files directly and organizes all mailbox data into a readable panel. Emails, contacts, calendars, and even deleted folders were visible in the same structured layout, which helped us verify records efficiently. Another advantage was that the viewer maintained original formatting and metadata, so timestamps and sender details stayed accurate for compliance checks. Large archive size did not slow down the system, and navigation between folders remained smooth. Since the process required no account setup or mail configuration, the entire review became much faster than expected. Using this method, our team could easily open PST file without Outlook and complete the verification process without technical complications.
