The most reliable gas leak detection methods

I am the chief safety engineer at a chemical terminal where the main methane supply line runs beneath the concrete slabs of the tanker loading area. Recently, we have observed a steady drop in system pressure even though the surface is completely dry and there are no visible leaks. Is it possible to locate the leak remotely under the reinforced concrete without halting the movement of heavy equipment throughout the entire sector?

Could you please advise on how to check the integrity of the joints in enclosed ducts when a constant draft causes the gas concentration to fluctuate? We’ve already tried walking through the area with handheld detectors, but they beep everywhere there’s even the slightest vapor from the rack. It’s impossible to pinpoint a specific leak this way.
