During an internal investigation, our team needed to extract and review legacy PSTs belonging to former staff. PST format is usable only if Outlook is operational, which wasn’t the case for us since those profiles were not available anymore. Compliance suggested PDF because it’s secure, immutable, and easy to review. That pushed us to find a proper way to convert PST files to PDF without manually printing each email through Outlook. We found SysInfo PST Converter, which performed batch export and preserved email metadata correctly. Large PSTs containing confidential mail threads converted smoothly. Another helpful capability is that the tool generates PDFs in a structured manner, keeping folder hierarchies intact, which makes it convenient for sequential review. Also liked that the tool supports multiple formats beyond PDF, such as MBOX, MSG, ICS, CSV, etc.
