My contacts lose phone numbers after converting from CSV to VCF — why?

This usually happens when the fields in your CSV file aren’t properly matched with the vCard fields during conversion. Before exporting, open your CSV in the converter and check the field mapping section. Make sure “Phone Number” in your CSV is mapped to “Telephone” or “Mobile” in vCard. When I used WholeClear CSV to VCF Converter, it automatically detected and mapped most of the fields correctly, but it still lets you adjust them manually. Once the mapping is correct, all numbers will appear properly in the final VCF file. The tool keeps every contact detail intact if you review the mapping before converting.
