I'm looking for the user manual for a Carrier 52SERIES model 52SEC514; does it explain how to properly set the unit's timer and fan speed for optimal efficiency?
Programming that Carrier 52SEC514 wall unit timer drove me absolutely nuts until I realized I was missing the hidden service menu that unlocks the advanced scheduling features. The standard controls only let you set basic on-off times but if you want the seven day programmable flexibility you need to access the installer configuration mode which is explained in depth in the carrier 52sec514 manual. I downloaded it from https://carrier.manymanuals.com/split-system-air-conditioners/52s-series/user-manual-28166 and found out you have to hold down the buttons in a specific sequence that isn't documented anywhere else to unlock the full timer functionality and fan speed optimization for each time period.
