Managing multiple Google Ads niches — separate accounts or one main account?

Hey everyone, I’m curious how experienced advertisers handle this situation. I currently run campaigns in a few completely different niches — local services, SaaS trials, and some lead gen offers — all under one Google Ads account. At first it felt convenient, but over time I noticed weird things: learning phases resetting, approvals taking longer, and performance jumping up and down for no obvious reason. Some friends told me Google’s algorithms don’t really “like” mixed niches under one account. Others say it’s fine if you structure campaigns properly. I’m honestly confused. Would it be smarter to separate niches into different accounts, especially if you’re planning to scale? Any personal experiences, mistakes, or “wish I had done this earlier” moments?

I’ve tested both approaches, and from my experience separating niches usually brings more stability in the long run. When everything is mixed in one account, Google’s system sometimes struggles to understand intent, especially if audiences, geos, and conversion types differ a lot. Separate accounts give cleaner data, clearer optimization signals, and less risk if one niche suddenly runs into policy issues. The downside is setup time and management overhead, but that’s where aged or ready-to-use accounts can save serious effort. I’ve seen people source accounts specifically for this purpose instead of starting from zero every time. If you’re researching this path, you can look at how account structures and transfers are explained at https://adwordsresources.com/en/ it helped me understand what’s realistic and what’s not. Just remember: separation helps organization, but compliance and smart scaling still matter most.
