Last year I got dragged into a pretty stressful situation with a friend who owns a small auto parts shop not far from Beaverton. It’s interesting how a place that feels completely normal during the day can suddenly feel tense late at night when everything is quiet. Even if nothing serious happens, that uneasy feeling alone can make people start thinking more carefully about how they protect the things they worked hard to build.
