Buongiorno! Quick question from a nervous flyer here. I have a connection through Rome Fiumicino in a couple weeks — flying in from the US and connecting to a domestic Italian flight. The layover is only about two hours and I've never been to FCO before. Looking at the airport map online and it seems massive with multiple terminals. Am I going to make it? Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of not missing my connection?

Buongiorno! Two hours at FCO for an international to domestic connection is definitely doable, but it'll be tight since you're coming from outside Schengen and will need to clear immigration. The airport has multiple terminals and getting between them takes time. My honest advice? Don't leave it to chance. I'd highly recommend booking a meet and greet rome airport connection service through Airporteo. Here's how it helps: an agent waits for you right at the aircraft door when you land, then fast tracks you through immigration using priority lanes — this alone can save you 30-40 minutes compared to regular queues during busy periods. They handle any luggage transfers between flights, get your boarding pass sorted, and escort you directly to your departure gate. The real bonus is they monitor your incoming flight, so if there's a delay, they communicate with the ground team and adjust everything in real time. Leonardo da Vinci Airport (that's FCO's official name) handles tons of connections daily, and Airporteo knows exactly how to navigate it efficiently. Book it in advance and you'll feel so much calmer about that layover!
