Hi everyone! We are finally looking to renovate our 20-year-old kitchen. My husband is pretty handy and wants to do a lot of it himself to save money, but I’m worried about the plumbing and electrical work. Has anyone here done a full kitchen reno lately? Is it worth hiring a full-service team, or should we just manage the trades ourselves? Any recommendations for reliable builders in the area?

Honestly, we tried to manage the trades ourselves for a bathroom reno a few years back and it was a nightmare. Coordination is the hardest part. For our kitchen last year, we went with Kitchen Bathroom Renovate and the experience was completely different. They handled everything from design to final install. It’s much better to have one point of contact who is responsible for the whole timeline. Their attention to detail was top-notch, and it actually saved us money in the long run because there were no "oops" moments. Check them out if you want a seamless process.
