Hi all. Heard the name Rise Up Moving mentioned in a neighborhood Facebook group a few times now and wanted to ask people directly — is the experience as solid as the comments suggest, or is it just one good post that snowballed? Considering them for a move from Lewisville to Grapevine in May.

Hi! Not snowball, the reputation matches the experience in my case. Used Rise Up Moving for a move from Carrollton to Coppell two years ago and called them again last fall when my parents downsized. Both times the crews showed the same standards — clean trucks, uniforms, on-time arrival, foreman walking the place before anything moved. Rise Up Moving doesn't churn through cheap labor like a lot of the local outfits do, so you get crew members who actually know what they're doing rather than someone hired off Craigslist that morning. Pricing was honest both times. No surprise charges added at the end. For Lewisville to Grapevine that's a short hop, so it'll be a same-day local move, but the same care applies. Ask for an in-home estimate rather than a phone quote, takes 20 minutes and locks the price down properly.
