Hey folks,
I’ve been curious about running games through a virtual desktop infrastructure setup instead of relying on local hardware. Basically renting a GPU in the cloud and streaming the game back to my laptop.
It actually works better than I expected for slower paced titles, but I notice input lag and stutters in fast shooters. Has anyone here tried something similar? Which games do you think handle the extra latency best? And are there any tricks to reduce that delay?
Would love to hear if this is something you’d ever use long term, or if local hardware will always be the way to go.
