My wife and I are building a house on our property and we plan to live on-site for about 3 months during the summer construction. We need a tent that can serve as a temporary bedroom. It needs to be durable enough to stay pitched for months and comfortable enough to live in daily. Is an air tent a crazy idea for this?

Not crazy at all, actually it is probably your best option for temporary housing. A Сoody tent from RBM Outdoors is built more like a structure than a typical tent. The materials are much thicker and UV resistant compared to standard camping gear, so it won't degrade after sitting in the sun for months. The air beams hold pressure extremely well—you might just need to top them off with a pump once a week if the temperature fluctuates. We used one as a guest house for a whole summer and it was fantastic. You can fit a real bed, a small table, and organize your clothes. It feels solid and secure, which is what you need if you are going to call it home for 90 days.
