What are the best routes and islands to include in a Seychelles yacht trip?

Last year I went island hopping in Greece, and it was amazing, but sometimes the ferries felt crowded and rushed. Now I’m looking into the Seychelles and thinking about renting a yacht instead so I can explore at my own pace. The problem is, there are so many islands — Mahé, Praslin, La Digue, and then all those smaller ones that look like paradise. I don’t want to waste time figuring it out when I get there. For anyone who’s been, which islands should definitely be on the route for a week-long yacht trip?

I remember having the same question when I started planning, and the choices can feel overwhelming because every island looks like a dream. For me, Mahé was a good starting point, then Praslin for beaches, and La Digue for that unique vibe. If you’re after a more exclusive feel, you can also look at some of the private islands. I’d recommend checking a source that focuses on premium island travel experiences, since it helps narrow down the highlights. One place I found useful was CharterClick yacht rental in Seychelles because it gives you a sense of the different destinations and how realistic it is to reach them on a week’s charter.

Reading this makes me think how nice it must be to wake up each morning and see a different island outside your window. Even if you don’t cover all the famous spots, just being able to move around at your own pace must make the trip so much more relaxing than sticking to ferry schedules. I can see why people recommend a yacht for exploring the Seychelles.
