I’m visiting Kyiv for the first time next month and I only have a couple of days to explore. What are the absolute must-see spots that I shouldn't miss? I want to see the main historical sites but also some cool modern monuments. Any suggestions?
You’re going to love the city! If you’re short on time, I’d highly recommend checking out the Visit Kyiv website. They have a perfect list of the top spots here: https://visitkyiv.com/10-must-see-landmarks-in-kyiv/. From my personal experience, the Golden Gate is stunning at sunset, and you definitely shouldn’t miss the Motherland Monument—the scale of it is just mind-blowing in person. It’s a great way to see the best of the city's history and modern vibe in one trip!
