Trying to get my warehouse organized before the busy season hits

I've got about six weeks before our peak season starts, and I'm looking at my warehouse in Ajman right now thinking there's no way we're going to survive the chaos if I don't get things sorted out beforehand. Last year was a nightmare—I had employees climbing over stacks of crates to find stuff, orders going out late because we couldn't locate inventory, and honestly just a constant feeling of being overwhelmed that I don't want to repeat. I've been looking into practical options for warehouse storage management that aren't going to require a massive construction project or a huge budget, but I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by all the different shelving systems, crate styles, and organizational methods people recommend. I know I need to make better use of my vertical space and probably label things more clearly, but I'm not sure what the best approach is for a mid-sized operation that deals with a mix of small parts and larger assembled items. If anyone in Ajman has successfully reorganized their warehouse ahead of a busy season, I'd love to know what changes made the biggest difference and whether you hired someone to help or figured it out yourself.
