This is a bit off-topic, but since a lot of us here travel or work abroad, I thought I’d share something that actually saved me from a stressful situation recently. I was in the UAE for a short trip, and if you’ve ever driven there, you know their traffic system is super strict cameras everywhere, instant fines, the whole thing.
I had no idea whether I had picked up a fine during the trip, and standing in lines to check wasn’t an option. In the middle of trying to sort everything out, I ended up using https://evgfinecheck-ae.com/ and it instantly showed all my pending fines (thankfully just one).
Just sharing this in case any other Guardian ends up driving in the UAE someday. It saved me a headache and probably a few Glimmer equivalents in late fees
