I’ve been exploring options to upskill and transition into the cloud computing domain, and Amazon Web Services seems to be the go-to platform everywhere I look. I have some basic IT background, but I want to build a strong foundation and eventually aim for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
After going through tons of articles and watching endless YouTube videos, I’ve realized that self-learning is great, but for someone like me who needs structure and guidance, proper AWS training is essential. That's why I’ve started looking into AWS classes in Pune, and I was wondering if anyone here has recommendations or personal experiences to share?
Here’s what I’m looking for:
During my search, I came across a few training centers like SevenMentor, CloudThat, and some local institutes. Among them, SevenMentor seems to have good reviews, and their course syllabus looks quite comprehensive. They cover everything from EC2, S3, and VPCs to Auto Scaling and IAM. The trainer apparently holds real-world experience, which is a big plus.
One thing I particularly liked was their hands-on approach. Instead of just explaining the theory, they let you work with AWS resources directly during class. That really helps in building confidence. They also offer support for certification preparation and conduct mock tests, which I think is super helpful.

I’m still gathering feedback before I finalize. Has anyone here taken their course or know someone who has? Or maybe you’ve attended AWS sessions elsewhere in Pune and have some honest feedback? Also curious: for those who have already completed AWS training—how long did it take you to feel comfortable enough to appear for the certification exam? And did your training include enough real-world scenarios to help in job interviews?
