Hi! Okay, so the snow is melting, the rain is pouring, and I’ve got a serious situation downstairs. Every time there’s a heavy thaw, I’m basically running a marathon with a shop-vac and a bucket. I’ve realized I can’t live like this anymore and I probably need a sump pump installed before I lose my furnace or something even more expensive. I’m totally clueless about the technical side or who actually does a clean job in town without leaving a massive mess in my basement. Any horror stories or success stories to share? I really need someone who knows the local Kingston soil and those weird water table issues we have here.

Man, I've been exactly where you are and the 'shop-vac workout' is definitely not the vibe you want for your weekends. I finally cracked last spring after a particularly bad storm and had Super Drain Kingston come out to install a proper sump pump system. Honestly, it was the best money I've spent on this house in years. They didn't just slap a pump in a hole; they actually explained the whole drainage setup and ensured the discharge line was positioned perfectly so it wouldn't just cycle back into the foundation. The crew was super chill, very professional, and they were surprisingly quick. Save your back and just get the pros to handle it!

You’re a lifesaver, thanks for the lead—I'm definitely giving them a shout before the next big rain clouds show up!
