Is Destiny’s Server Storage Capacity Affecting Gameplay?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been noticing a few issues lately with Destiny 2 that seem to be tied to server storage limitations. More specifically, I'm referring to the increasing number of in-game hiccups, from slow loading times to some players being booted out of activities mid-game, possibly due to server storage constraints.

It got me thinking — could these performance issues be connected to how much data is stored on the servers?

As we all know, Destiny has been evolving with constant updates, new expansions, and ever-growing player data. With each new season and addition, it feels like there’s more to load. Does anyone else think that Bungie might be running into server storage constraints that could be causing these hiccups?

I’ve read some player feedback where they’ve mentioned server lag or issues with inventory data syncing — could this be linked to overloaded servers? Would love to hear your thoughts on whether server infrastructure could be the culprit and what Bungie might do about it in the future.
