Is 9 days enough for complete Chardham Yatra?

Honestly, it's tight but doable if everything goes smoothly. Problem is - things rarely go perfectly smooth in the mountains!

We did it in 9 days but skipped rest days completely. Every morning was early starts around 5-6 AM. By day seven, everyone was exhausted. Looking back, 11-12 days would've been ideal.

The drives are long - Barkot to Uttarkashi to Guptkashi to Joshimath. Each leg takes 4-7 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Then you have temple visits and treks on top of that.

Weather delays are common. One landslide or road closure messes up your entire timeline. We got lucky with weather, but the group before us got stuck for 36 hours near Gangotri.

If you're doing Delhi to Chardham yatra by Hire tempo traveller on rent in Delhi for 9 days, keep your schedule flexible. Skip elaborate sightseeing, focus only on the four dhams, and pray for good weather. Also, make sure everyone in your group is reasonably fit.

My suggestion - plan for 11 days minimum!
