How to Upgrade ANSI PST to Unicode PST and Why It is Necessary?

I am using an old Outlook PST file that I recently discovered is in ANSI format. The issue is that it has a size limitation (around 2GB), and I am worried it might get corrupted once it reaches that limit. I have read that newer Outlook versions use Unicode PST files, which support much larger sizes and are more reliable. Can someone please guide me on how to upgrade or convert my ANSI PST file to Unicode PST without losing any data? Also, I like to understand why this upgrade is important and in what situations it becomes necessary. What is the best method or tool to perform this upgrade safely?

Microsoft Outlook is the most popular application for email management. The PST (Personal Storage Table) file used in it saves your emails, contacts, calendar, and other data. But the PST files created in the old version of Outlook (Outlook 2002 and earlier) were in ANSI format, while the new versions of Outlook (Outlook 2003 and later) support Unicode format. If you want to convert the old Outlook PST file (ANSI) to the new Unicode format, then I would definitely recommend Softaken PST Upgrade Software. I have used it myself, and it is quite easy and user-friendly. Through this, you can upgrade your file without any data loss. The special thing is that this tool handles even large PST files very easily, and the folder structure is also maintained in it. It can be used even if you do not have any technical knowledge. A trial version is also available, so that you can test it first and then buy it.
