I'm looking to make a Tulsi Basil Simple Syrup and would love some tips! I know the basics of simple syrup (sugar + water), but I want to maximize the aroma and flavor of tulsi without making it bitter. Should I use fresh or dried leaves? How long should I steep them? Also, any suggestions on the best sugar-to-water ratio for cocktails or teas?
