I have been testing Online Adult Commercials for some time now, and one thing that keeps bothering me is how unpredictable the CPC can get. Some days it feels manageable, and then suddenly the costs spike without any clear reason.

At first, I thought it was just about bidding lower, but that did not really solve anything. Either I lost traffic completely or the quality dropped so much that conversions disappeared. It felt like I was stuck choosing between expensive clicks or useless ones.

What helped me a bit was changing how I approached targeting. Instead of going broad, I started narrowing things down and testing smaller segments. It sounds basic, but focusing on specific geos and devices actually made a noticeable difference in cost. I also played around with ad creatives more than I used to. Slight changes in headlines or images sometimes lowered CPC because the ads performed better overall.

Another thing I noticed was timing. Running campaigns all day was just draining budget. Once I started tracking when conversions actually happened, I cut off the hours that were not performing. That alone helped reduce wasted spend.

I am still figuring things out, but it seems like reducing CPC is less about one big trick and more about small adjustments that add up over time. It takes patience, which is honestly the hardest part.
