Price feeds are live streams of market prices for assets like currency, stocks, or crypto. When building a binary options trading platform, these feeds are very important because trades depend on real-time price movement.

First, the platform connects to trusted data providers or exchanges using APIs. These APIs send continuous price updates. The system receives this data and updates the platform’s charts and quotes instantly.

Then, the binary options engine uses this live data to check whether a prediction is correct at the expiry time. For example, if the user predicts “price will go up,” the system compares the entry price and final price from the feed.

To ensure fairness, many systems use multiple feeds and average them or verify them to avoid manipulation or delays.
