Of course, there are a lot of benefit in kind that are taxable depending on their type and value. Usually, if it is a monetary related benefit that benefits the employee with personal gain, then it must be reported to tax authorities, and if the benefit is monetary, tax may be due. As a case, company cars that are used for personal travel and private health insurance usually are considered taxable. Yet in some cases, in kind benefits may not be taxable, or may be taxed only in a special way, for instance, workplace pensions or on site meals. Locally the tax laws and employer policies should be checked.
