As far as I know, engrams are safe.  I have 20 engrams (mix of legendary and exotic) waiting to be used tomorrow.

I have

285 IB tokens (will get more tonight)  I'll be well over 300

1060 Crucible

600 EDZ

534 IO

452 Nessus

201 Mercury

508 Titan

101 Vanguard

5000 Gunsmith materials

I have a ton of planetary materials as well, but won't list them.

I hope they are all good after tomorrow.  LOL...

I don't know how you save all the tokens..  I don't have any from anywhere...  lol..  It's like having cash in my pocket and it gets spent as fast as I get them.....

I feel ya on this one.  I hate the flashy icons that tell me I need to do something at the vendors. But I play every day.  I don't need any weapons and I knew the expansion was coming so I decided to not turn anything in.  But I had a personal goal to make it to Rank 100 on the IB for Season 2.  I did.  I have   359 extra IB tokens.  All so I have a jump start in Season 3.

Well I'm glad your self control is.... controlled!!!  I used to see flashing stuff at the tower and I would drop tokens like it was a casino...  And then when I received nothing good I would curse myself.

When I logged back in after my hiatus, I only had a 150 gunsmith materials and no more than 10 tokens at any vendor.  Hope you get tons of good stuff from saving them...

Trust me, I'll be hitting the vendors pretty quick to drop most of these tokens and engrams.  LOL.  My CDO has been making me sweat when I got into the tower.  Too many flashing vendors...

My hopes is that the expansion is fun and it gives us enough to enjoy until the September update.  This is the first time I've seen so many people cautiously optimistic that Destiny 2 is on the right track.  We'll know this afternoon.

I'll be leaving work early to go home and play.

Remember pre-download starts at 9am CT (10am ET)

I am quite happy, I played it last night and the quests were sweet, you had to use cover and guile.  I picked up some great infusions and weapons too.  The Bray scout rifle is a punchy gun.

I like the events.

I just feel we need to see a bit of grind for example, exotics should be treats not showering rain.  The days of strange coin for xur.  you had to play to earn it.  Also the quests for weapons.

any feedback so far?

*SPOILERS*

I thought it was awful. I was really looking forward to it, then I played for about three hours and was done with the Story and reached max Level 30. Though it all looks pretty good (Rasputin, Xol, the icy side of Mars) I disliked that it's so short and also that the story has some major plot holes. Rasputin has always been on that side of Mars? Are you kidding me? We had Mars as a Planet from Day 1 of Destiny 1 and the Vanguard was trying to figure stuff out about Rasputin when it's right on the surface of the other side of Mars? ... Did no one ever fly around there and saw it or what. Also Ana probably knew all about it, so what's the deal with mysterious Rasputin in D1 when it was widely known her family built the facility on Mars and it's where he is.
And then the worst part, Xol, the worm god. Second to only the darkness itself. More Powerful than Crota, Oryx or any Hive we encountered. And what happens? We shoot at him like 4 Minutes and he's dead. Like... what? It took us forever to kill Oryx and Crota and this super powerful god just... does nothing and dies in a matter of minutes?
Nokris and Xol are awesome characters. Now that could have made for a great story and raid, not that boring Cabal circus ship. But no, those great characters are wasted in two missions where they basically do nothing but try to get to Rasputin (who apparently is powerful enough to protect all of mankind but can't fight off a stupid worm that even a guardian can shoot in a few minutes).

I'm sorry but what is this crap?

EDIT: Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I was that guy who ordered the T-Shirts, led his own clan, loved the game to bits. And now it's just one disappointment after another. I really hope they'll do a huge DLC like Taken King, bring back random rolls, new weapons (let's face it they all look the same with a different name and color)... and maybe save this mess.

Hey Dani!!  Welcome back!

I enjoyed the DLC.  The story was 5 missions long which is what was expected as that has been the same for other DLCs.  It did seem short, but the last two missions I did with friends and the missions went quickly.

With regards to the Clovis Bray facility in the polar caps of Mars.  They explained that the facility had been buried for hundreds of years after the collapse of the Golden Age. So it was under lots of ice and no one could see it.  It wasn't until the Traveler woke up that the ice started to melt and recede enough to expose the facility.

Were there some holes in the story.  Yes.  But I'll let the Lore junkies work that out.  Such as how Vuvuzela found it before we did and got that deep into it to chastise us for being there.

I agree that Nokris and Xol were under utilized.  But I'm not a story writer to be able to even begin to say how it should have been done.

I give it 3.5 of 5 stars.  it was entertaining, the visuals were amazing.  There is still a lot of stuff I need to do.  I still haven't even finished the first phase of Escalation Protocal.  Unlike the CURSE of Osiris where I was done in 2 hours and nothing left to do. Also, the music is amazing again as well.

All in all I believe it shows that Destiny 2 is going back in the direction we want it.

IMO , I think that Bungie did a great job on Warmind , if the whole of Destiny 2 was like Warmind maybe there would have been as may complaints , but it is what it is , are there holes in the story sure , I thought for sure we'd have to make a visit to Bunker RAS 4  , but such was not the case , all in all, I like it , it's way better the CoO is and there are plenty of thing to grind for . This will keep me busy till September for sure !!

I've only played the first mission so far, but my thoughts are mostly positive at the moment. The 'Frozen Hive still sound kinda cringey, but I don't have as much of a problem with them as I used to.
I do however have massive problems with Zavala somehow being on Mars and inside the Warmind bunker before us. My mind just can't comprehend that.
I must admit that I also don't like how everyone suddenly knows about Xol. It would've paid better, in my humble opinion, if we discovered Xol during the story and then alerted Ana and Zavala to his presence. Instead they're all, "Here's a Worm-god, go kill it."

Well, I spent about 3 hours last night with a friend searching for the data points.  We got 35 of them and got the Exotic Sword.  That was fun to do. The next 10 are going to be tough.  We did it all without watching any videos.

All in all the extra stuff to do in Destiny 2 - Warmind is keeping me busy.  I haven't done my Heroic Strikes yet, nor have I been in the crucible.  I am kind of glad I haven't done the strikes as one of the new quests has me having to do 5 of them. So I'm waiting till I'm at that point.

Now that you have a couple of days under your belt with it, any new impressions?

That where I'm at now ,  have to do 5 Heroic strikes . I don't know how many of the Data points I have , I do know that 2 of them I had to use( SPOILER ALERT) the Valykrie to get them , yes I did watch a video to learn that ! I'm still going to stick with my original impressions , this is good DLC , I'm enjoying playing it , I actually spent most of yesterday grinding out the IKELOS quest and doing the adventures, which are pretty good also. all in all I give it an 8 out of 10 !

I just finished the story yesterday afternoon in one sitting.  Went from a 318 LL to a 340 ish.  The gameplay was harder getting to the worm god then actually killing him.  But as someone I'm sure has said, the worm god would have made a great Raid boss and it seems that it is a wasted opportunity.  The current Raid is the worst one of Destiny.  It was time to abandon ship with the puzzles and make it more about killing bosses, IMO.

Haven't tried anything else out in the expansion yet but hoping to this weekend.  Just by what I'm reading it will give us a good month - month and a half of content to play before people move on.  It would have helped tremendously if they would have made the Crucible 6v6 and switched trials back to D1 trials.  That would have kept me playing longer for sure.  We'll see, hopefully I'm wrong and everyone sticks around.  I saw more people on D2 at noon today than I did 4 weeks after the release.  So definitely a good sign and hopefully they keep fixing it to keep more people around.

Hi Michael :) Nice to be back here! I didn't yet figure out how to shoot some of these. Like the one on the side of the big bridge, it's clearly orange but also immune to solar damage.

I hope they'll make some major changes in the september DLC. I expect it to be as big as Taken King and hopefully it'll make the game playable again. My main problem is -still- the lack of things to do for the hardcore players as well as the missing character customization options (in terms of skill-tree and gear). The loot system and weapons are made for casual players, but I don't really have anything to grind for. I used to do like 20 Vex Strikes a week in hope to get a great roll on Imago Loop.  :P They shouldn't have listened to the whiny players that complained about not having a Gjallarhorn or Thorn or any OP weapon. Well go grind for it then, it's an RPG shooter with random loot after all. I also really miss playing around with my skill tree and gear to have the perfect setup for my character...

Dani,

The one on the side of the bridge and one behind a building near Ana need to be destroyed with the Valkyrie.  You need to start EP, used a Rasputin's code to get the Valkyrie.  Or you can wait till the Warsat PE, they have Valkyries in that.

From what I'm hearing, Things are going to drastically change in September.  They took Mods 2.0 off the road map, and the conjecture is that we're getting random rolls.  But all who went to the summit are optimistic.

It's Day 4 and I still haven't finished everything in Warmind.  I haven't run many Heroic Strikes. They're hard now.  Which is good.

I wrapped up the "campaign" with my Hunter last night.  for that I rate it at 3/5.  3 missions were memorable, the other two I seriously can't even recall what I did.

So far ... Its still Destiny 2.  Doesn't feel different to me.

I still have other things in my Hunters world to accomplish, but I'm going to hand up the cloak and pick up the mark for a little bit and play through the expansion again.

Then I might finally start up my Warlock and play from Zer0 through everything.

Hi all,

here my short feedback to warmind. Short campaign, some mission are nice. The nice one was reused for strikes. And this is complete lame. Why always reusing missions for strikes.

I finished 25 heroic strikes and still stuck at 347. For me the loot for heroic strikes with missions modifiers are complete waste.

The Raid mechanic is complete lame, it is more like a jump and run game.  I want to have my vault of glas raid back. Fighting the boss, this is my fun.

And final: I am tired of Fighting always cabale, Vex and fallen. When we get something new?

I with you on this , I thought for sure we'd get a new enemy on this one , but I guess they are saving it for the "big" September expansion , they are going to announce at E3 next month , I guess we will have to wait and see !

On another note , I got the Exotic sword yesterday , haven't gotten to use it to much , but I guess it's ok , now I have to do 5 Heroic strikes and Escalation Protocol for the Sleeper Simulant

I don’t really mind the exotics, most the the D2 one were pretty useless anyway. ;P
Right now I’ve just gotten into all the legendary kinetic handcannons (I’ll always be a HC guy) to see what other options there are. I use a masterwork (reloadspeed) Judgement on my warlock and BD on my hunter but I’m looking forward to trying Steady Hand (Outlaw!) and Dire Promise in PvP. And well I’m also just grinding legendary marks and glimmer cause I’m pretty much out.
